Originally established in 1981 as Talent Chemical Corporation.
Licensed nickel sulphate production technology from Inco of Canada and built factory in Taichung, Taiwan. OEM production of nickel sulphate for Inco under the Incomond trade name.

Talent's nickel sulphate plant was acquired in 1987 and the new company was named Zenith Chemical Corporation.
In 1992,Zenith started production of nickel chloride using in house developed technology
In 1999,Zenith started production of nickel sulphamate using in house developed technology.
In 2008 restarted OEM nickel sulphate and nickel chloride production for Vale Inco.
In April 2011 Vale transferred its nickel salts business to Zenith.
